Library Policies

Circulation Policy

Students may checkout up to 10 items, for 30 days. Students may renew twice if there is no hold on the item. Students who do not return books after the circulation period closes (June) will be charged replacement value.

Study Hall Procedure

Students may come to the library from study hall with a library pass. Students must stay for the whole period. If students need to leave for any reason, the student must sign –out and request a pass.  Classes who have signed-up for the library get first priority on the computers. Study hall students will be allowed to fill in where there is space.

Behavior Policy

Ms. Costello encourages students to take full advantage of the library, and does not want to close the library every time a class is scheduled. It is not a silent place, but it is a respectful place. If a class has scheduled the library, be respectful of the fact that you are sitting in the middle of that teacher’s class. Do not disrupt the education of the students in the class, and if the teacher is giving instruction, please be silent until they are finished.
